NCLEX-RN & NCLEX-PN

NCLEX preparation for internationally educated nurses

The NCLEX is not a test of how much you remember. It is a test of how you decide. That is what we prepare you for.
Most nurses who struggle with the NCLEX already know the content. What catches them out is the question style: choosing what to do first, what to delegate, and what can wait. We build your plan around that, and around the hours you can actually study.

What the exam covers

The NCLEX is built from a published blueprint. We follow it, and weight your time towards the categories that carry the most marks.
  • Management of care, delegation and prioritisation
  • Safety and infection control
  • Pharmacological therapies
  • Reduction of risk potential
  • Physiological adaptation
  • Health promotion, and psychosocial integrity

NCLEX questions we get asked most

The NCLEX is the licensure exam used across the United States and Canada. NCLEX-RN is for registered nurses and NCLEX-PN is for practical nurses. It is computer adaptive, which means the questions get harder or easier depending on how you answer.
Since 2023 the exam has included newer question types built around case studies, designed to test clinical judgement rather than recall. Our mock exams include these formats.
For most Canadian provinces, your credentials are assessed before a regulator approves you to write. The order and the requirements vary, so book a consultation and we will map your specific path.
The exam is delivered at test centres in several countries. Availability changes, so check current international locations with Pearson VUE once you have been approved to test.
Most of our students are ready within about 90 days of consistent study. If you are working full time, plan for longer. Your diagnostic test tells us more than any general estimate.
You receive a performance report showing which areas were below standard, and there is a waiting period before you can retake. We use that report to rebuild your plan around what actually went wrong.
Not on its own. The exam is one requirement. Your regulatory body also checks your credentials, English language proficiency, and other conditions before issuing a licence.

Exam rules and licensure requirements change. Always confirm current details with NCSBN and with the regulatory body you are applying to.
